Exclusive: Blizzard Legal Team Now Accepting Cease and Desist Requests via Carrier Pigeon

In a shocking turn of events, Blizzard has announced a new method for private server owners to receive their legal notices—via carrier pigeon.

Following a string of failed lawsuits against private server operators, Blizzard has decided to take a more traditional approach to delivering cease and desist orders. Starting next month, anyone running a WoW private server can expect to receive a feathered messenger with a scroll containing the dreaded legal document.

According to a Blizzard spokesperson, the carrier pigeon initiative is meant to add a touch of whimsy to an otherwise contentious situation. ‘We wanted to inject some fun into the cease and desist process,’ the spokesperson said. ‘Plus, we’ve heard that pigeons are much more reliable than our current legal team.’

The new method has already sparked controversy within the private server community, with some server operators expressing concern over the welfare of the carrier pigeons. One server owner, who wished to remain anonymous, stated, ‘I don’t want innocent birds getting caught in the crossfire of Blizzard’s legal battles.’

Despite the backlash, Blizzard shows no signs of backing down from their avian approach to legal action. In fact, they have already begun training a squadron of elite carrier pigeons to ensure swift delivery of cease and desist orders to every corner of the private server scene.
