Blizzard Sends Cease and Desist to Private Server for Using Too Many ‘Gnome Memes’

In a shocking turn of events, Blizzard Legal has targeted a popular private server for their excessive use of gnome-related humor, sparking outrage in the WoW community.

Gnomes, the pint-sized race known for their engineering prowess and quirky personalities, have long been a staple of World of Warcraft. However, it seems that one private server took their love for gnomes a bit too far, inundating players with an endless stream of gnome memes and jokes.

Blizzard Legal issued a statement claiming that the server’s use of gnomes in this manner was a violation of their intellectual property rights, as gnomes are a copyrighted element of the Warcraft universe. Players were left reeling, wondering if their beloved gnome-themed transmogs and emotes were now also at risk.

In response to the backlash, the private server in question has promised to tone down the gnome memes and focus on more generic humor. However, fans worry that this may be the end of an era for gnome enthusiasts everywhere.

Whether you love them or hate them, gnomes have always been a divisive topic in the WoW community. Will Blizzard’s crackdown on gnome-related content set a dangerous precedent for other private servers? Only time will tell.
