Blizzard Legal Team Sends Cease and Desist to World of Warcraft Private Server for Using Too Many Polymorphs

In a shocking turn of events, Blizzard’s legal team has issued a cease and desist to a popular private server for allegedly overusing the Polymorph spell.

According to sources close to the situation, players on the private server were apparently having too much fun turning each other into sheep, pigs, and even murlocs. This flagrant abuse of the Polymorph spell is said to have caught the attention of Blizzard’s legal team, who wasted no time in sending out a cease and desist letter.

The letter reportedly stated that the excessive use of Polymorph was infringing on Blizzard’s intellectual property rights and damaging the integrity of the World of Warcraft brand. In response, the private server’s developers have been forced to remove the spell entirely, much to the dismay of the player base.

This latest incident has sparked outrage among the World of Warcraft community, with many players taking to social media to express their disbelief at Blizzard’s heavy-handed tactics. Some have even started a petition to bring back Polymorph, arguing that it’s a fundamental part of the game’s identity.

As the controversy continues to unfold, one thing is clear: Blizzard’s legal team is not messing around when it comes to protecting their precious intellectual property. Will this spell the end of fun and whimsy on private servers forever? Only time will tell.
