Blizzard Sends Cease and Desist to Grandma Running Vanilla Server Out of Nursing Home
In a shocking turn of events, Blizzard has set their sights on a new target: a sweet grandma running a Vanilla WoW server out of her nursing home.
It all started when Grandma Edna, a 92-year-old retired schoolteacher, decided to relive her glory days by setting up a private Vanilla WoW server in the common room of her nursing home. Complete with a stack of homemade cookies and a sign-up sheet for raids, Grandma Edna’s server quickly gained popularity among the residents.
However, Blizzard was not amused. In a cease and desist letter sent to Grandma Edna, they cited copyright infringement and demanded that she shut down the server immediately. Grandma Edna, a feisty old lady with a heart of gold, refused to back down. ‘I may be old, but I’m not going down without a fight!’ she declared, brandishing her cane like a warhammer.
The WoW community has rallied behind Grandma Edna, with players staging protests outside her nursing home and flooding social media with the hashtag #FreeGrandmaEdna. Some have even offered to set up VPNs to protect her server from Blizzard’s prying eyes.
As the battle between Grandma Edna and Blizzard rages on, one thing is clear: you don’t mess with a granny who can tank, heal, and DPS all at once. And remember, if you’re looking for a private server that won’t get shut down by corporate lawyers, check out Wrath-Reborn EU for a free Celestial Steed, 10 gold, and level 5 riding for every new account!
