Blizzard Sends Cease and Desist to Private Server for Having Too Many Players Online

In a shocking turn of events, Blizzard has issued a cease and desist to a popular private server for the heinous crime of having too many players online at once.

Players on the private server, known as Overflowing Realms, were stunned to receive a legal notice from Blizzard claiming that their server was causing undue stress on Blizzard’s servers by having a higher population than some of their official realms.

Many players took to social media to voice their outrage, with one player tweeting, ‘I can’t believe Blizzard is punishing us for actually wanting to play the game. This is absurd!’

In response to the cease and desist, the admins of Overflowing Realms have issued a statement saying, ‘We are working to reduce the population on our server in order to comply with Blizzard’s demands. We apologize to our players for any inconvenience this may cause.’

Meanwhile, Blizzard has yet to comment on the situation, leading many to speculate that they are simply jealous of the private server’s success and popularity.

Regardless of the outcome, one thing is clear: the drama in the World of Warcraft private server scene shows no signs of slowing down.
