Blizzard Sends Cease and Desist to WoW Private Server Offering Free Mounts

In a shocking turn of events, Blizzard has set its sights on a private server offering free mounts to players, sparking outrage and confusion in the WoW community.

Players on the Wrath-Reborn EU server were left reeling this week after receiving notice from Blizzard’s legal team demanding the shutdown of the server for offering a free Celestial Steed, 10 gold, and level 5 riding to new accounts.

The server, known for its generous incentives, quickly became a target for Blizzard’s legal department, who cited copyright infringement and unauthorized use of Blizzard’s intellectual property as the reasons for the cease and desist.

Many players took to social media to express their frustration, with one user tweeting, ‘I just wanted a free mount, why is Blizzard ruining everything fun?’

Despite the backlash, Blizzard remains firm in its stance against private servers, urging players to support the official game and avoid participating in unauthorized servers.

With tensions running high, it’s clear that the battle between Blizzard and private servers is far from over. Will players continue to seek out alternative servers for freebies, or will they cave under the pressure from the gaming giant? Only time will tell.
