Blizzard Sends Cease and Desist to WoW Private Server for Using Too Many ‘Yeets’ in Patch Notes

In a shocking turn of events, Blizzard has sent a cease and desist letter to a popular WoW private server for their excessive and inappropriate use of the word ‘yeet’ in their patch notes.

Players logging into the private server were greeted with a message from the server admin declaring, ‘Yeet yeet, it’s time for some sick updates, fam.’ This was just the beginning of a slew of ‘yeets’ that were scattered throughout the patch notes.

Blizzard’s legal team quickly caught wind of the situation and promptly issued a cease and desist, stating that the use of ‘yeet’ in such a manner was a violation of their intellectual property rights and tarnished the reputation of the World of Warcraft brand.

The server admin responded by posting a meme of a confused Pikachu with the caption, ‘When Blizzard can’t handle the yeet.’ However, it seems that Blizzard is not backing down on this issue.

As players wait to see how this drama unfolds, one thing is for certain: ‘yeet’ has never been more controversial in the world of Azeroth.
