Blizzard Sends Cease and Desist to Grandma Running WoW Server from Nursing Home

In a shocking turn of events, Blizzard has set its sights on the most unlikely of foes: a sweet grandma who just wanted to play World of Warcraft with her friends.

Gertrude Jenkins, 87, never thought her love for the game would land her in legal hot water. But after setting up her own private server in the common room of her nursing home, complete with homemade cookies and tea for her fellow residents, Blizzard wasted no time in sending her a cease and desist letter.

When asked for comment, Blizzard’s legal team stated, “We appreciate Mrs. Jenkins’ enthusiasm for World of Warcraft, but running a private server violates our terms of service. We encourage her to enjoy the game on our official servers.”

The news has sparked outrage among the WoW community, with many taking to social media to express their support for Grandma Jenkins. The hashtag #LetGrandmaPlay has been trending on Twitter, with players sharing stories of how the game has brought generations together.

As for Grandma Jenkins, she has reluctantly shut down her server and returned to playing on the official realms. But she’s not giving up hope. In a statement to her supporters, she said, “I may be old, but I’m not out. I’ll be back in Azeroth, one way or another.”

While the drama continues to unfold, one thing is clear: the World of Warcraft community is as passionate and dedicated as ever. And if you’re looking to join in on the fun, be sure to check out Wrath-Reborn EU for a free Celestial Steed, 10 gold, and level 5 riding for every new account.
