Blizzard Announces New Policy: You Can Only Play WoW if You ARE a Boomer
In a shocking move, Blizzard has announced that only Boomers are allowed to play World of Warcraft moving forward.
Following the recent surge in popularity of WoW Classic, Blizzard has decided to cater exclusively to the Boomer demographic. In a press release, Blizzard stated, ‘We believe that Boomers have a special appreciation for the classic WoW experience, and we want to focus on providing the best possible gaming experience for this age group.’
As part of this new policy, players will be required to submit a birth certificate proving they were born before 1965 in order to access their accounts. Any players found to be Millennials or Gen Zers will be immediately banned and their accounts deleted.
Many players have expressed outrage at this new policy, with one player saying, ‘I can’t believe Blizzard is discriminating against younger players like this. It’s ridiculous!’ However, Blizzard seems determined to move forward with their Boomer-focused strategy.
Despite the backlash, Blizzard shows no signs of backing down. It seems that if you’re not a Boomer, you may have to find a new game to play.
