Blizzard Legal Team Sends Cease and Desist to WoW Private Server for Naming it ‘World of Warcraft Copycat’

In a shocking turn of events, Blizzard’s legal team has once again flexed their muscles by sending a cease and desist letter to a WoW private server for having the audacity to call itself ‘World of Warcraft Copycat.’

According to the letter, Blizzard claims that the server’s name is a blatant infringement on their intellectual property and is causing confusion among players who might mistake it for the real World of Warcraft.

This isn’t the first time Blizzard has cracked down on private servers, but this latest move has left many in the community scratching their heads. One player commented, ‘I mean, isn’t every private server technically a copycat of WoW?’

In response to the cease and desist, the server’s owner has decided to rebrand as ‘Definitely Not World of Warcraft’ in a desperate attempt to avoid further legal action. However, it remains to be seen whether Blizzard will find this new name acceptable.

As the drama continues to unfold, one thing is clear: Blizzard’s legal team shows no mercy when it comes to protecting their precious intellectual property. Who will be their next target? Only time will tell.
