Blizzard Sends Cease and Desist to Private Server for Using Too Many ‘Yeets’ in Patch Notes

In a shocking turn of events, Blizzard legal has cracked down on a private server for their excessive and unauthorized use of the word ‘yeet’ in their patch notes.

Players logging into the popular private server, YeetCraft, were met with a surprising message from the developer team: a cease and desist letter from Blizzard legal. The reason? Apparently, the server’s patch notes were filled with an alarming number of ‘yeets,’ much to the dismay of the corporate giant.

According to sources close to the server, the word ‘yeet’ was used a staggering 69 times in the latest patch notes, prompting Blizzard to take swift legal action. In a statement, Blizzard legal explained, ‘We simply cannot allow our intellectual property to be associated with such blatant meme culture.’

The community’s reaction to the news has been mixed, with some players applauding Blizzard for upholding their copyright, while others are mourning the loss of their beloved ‘yeets.’ One player lamented, ‘I can’t believe Blizzard is taking away our precious yeets. What am I supposed to yell when I charge into battle now?’

As the private server scrambles to comply with Blizzard’s demands, one thing is clear: the era of ‘yeet’ in Azeroth may be coming to an end. Will this be the last we see of the beloved meme word in WoW private servers? Only time will tell.
