Blizzard Sends Cease and Desist to WOW Private Server for ‘Stealing Too Many Players’
In a shocking turn of events, Blizzard has issued a cease and desist to a popular private server for allegedly ‘stealing too many players’ from their official servers.
The private server in question, known as ‘Elysium-Mega-Fun-Happy-Time-Server,’ has been a thorn in Blizzard’s side for months now. With over 10,000 active players, the server has become a hotbed of drama, absurdities, and memes that have left Blizzard executives scratching their heads.
A Blizzard spokesperson stated, ‘We simply cannot allow a private server to have more players than our official servers. It’s bad for business.’ When asked about the quality of the private server compared to their own, the spokesperson replied, ‘Who cares about quality when you have player numbers?’
In response to the cease and desist, the Elysium-Mega-Fun-Happy-Time-Server issued a statement saying, ‘We will not be intimidated by Blizzard’s legal threats. Our players love the sense of community and camaraderie we offer, and we will fight to keep our server alive.’
As the drama unfolds, players are left wondering what the future holds for their beloved private server. Will Blizzard succeed in shutting it down, or will the Elysium-Mega-Fun-Happy-Time-Server prevail against the corporate giant? Only time will tell.
